UniFlame was founded in 1990 by Mac McQuilkin. He saw opportunities for revolutionary improvements in product categories like fireplace accessories, patio heaters, barbecues and other home and backyard products. The company grew quickly and in 2000 was purchased by Blue Rhino. UniFlame now has an emphasis on providing high-quality, affordable propane appliances that complement Blue Rhino’s core business, propane tank exchange.

UniFlame now markets its products under the UniFlame brand name, as well as Endless Summer and SkeeterVac.
